Courtyard Garden

This is a lush textured garden full of light and dark. I has been created to inspire the senses and excite the mind. The composite decking adjacent to the bifold doors has space enough for a bistro table and chairs to the right. This conects to the garden in two ways. To the left it leads to the summer room around to the back of the garden where there is room for the BBQ. This in turn leads to another boardwalk that takes you to a tranquil patio and seating area. The seating is bult into the low raised wall and pergola. The pergola is toped with laser cut patterned screens which will allow dappled light through. One side of the pergola, facing the house, will be welded with a Mondrian geometric style. There is a crazy paving path that will lead from the pergola back to the decking and house.

The planting is of lush greens and varied textures. While all ofthe decking and paving will be on the same level, the planting in the heart of the garden will be on a slightly lower leven to the decking and paving creating a sense of walking above the plants.

There is space within the planting for sculture and a water feature.
